A Chinese company teases the new solar powered cars

The future of human transportation is not a petrol-engined vehicles like today. At least this is proven through the development of alternative energy available, such as electricity, and sunlight.

For the latter, one of the parties focusing on developing it was Hanergy Holding Group, a leading solar energy company in the world. More recently, they introduced the four solar-powered cars. Its solar panels `caught` the sunlight and convert it into electrical energy.

As quoted from Gizmag, a company spokesman said, "these cars, which can be recharged during the day while driving, it also contains the lithium batteries, thus enabling rechargeable also at the (recharging) station, when there is no sun or during long trips."

Explained, by drying the car in the sun for five to six hours, the Hanergy car can travel about 80 kilometers. These cars should have been introduced years ago. But later postponed due to the company having problems because its shares down 47 percent in one day.

Although still a prototype, these cars are not impossible commercialized. Many benefits can be obtained if these are achieved. For example, the cost of making solar panels could be cheaper, even up to 90 percent.

In addition to these passenger cars, Hanergy has also been cooperating with the Chinese government. They will provide solar-powered vehicles for recreational purposes, as well as food trucks or catering. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | HANERGY | GIZMAG]

Is this the first Indonesian-made LRT?

Traffic density problem are always a challenge for the major cities in Indonesia. Causes may vary, ranging from an increased volume of vehicles, motorists are less orderly, narrow streets, and so forth.

The lack of public transport facilities to support the citizens convenience sometimes be the reason. For that any effort to improve the reliable public transportation system which is free of traffic jams in Indonesia deserves to be supported.

Recently in Bandung, the effort was underway through a LRT (Light Rail Transit) prototype developed by the Indonesian engineers are being tested. The LRT itself is one of the passenger railway systems and operating in urban areas whose construction is lightweight. It could even run alongside other traffics or in a special track.

As posted by the Mayor of Bandung Ridwan Kamil in his Instagram account that displays a short video about the tests of a LRT prototype. And seen in the video, the LRT is already running and can be used, although only one railway coach. There's no detailed information only mentioned in one railway coach can accommodate 50 people, and run with maximum speed of 40 km/h.

As reported by GalaMediaNews.com on February 3, 2016, that the West Java provincial government plans to build eight LRT lines in the area of Bandung Raya. And currently the work is still in the processing the DED 3 (Detail Engineering Design) stage.

Here it is the figure of Red Bull Racing and Aston Martin hypercar

Are you remember with our previous article about this hypercar some time ago (jump to the article). And now Red Bull Racing and Aston Martin have released the first image of the latest hypercar named AM-RB 001, which was inspired from the Formula-1 racing car. As in the F1, these latest hypercar also use the carbon fiber materials.

As reported on the Telegraph, this hypercar has a radical middle naturally-aspirated V12 engine. This machine was designed by the legendary F1 designer Adrian Newey, along with Marek Reichman and David King of the Aston Martin.

"I insist that these AM-RB 001 should be a real street cars (like the cars in general) which also have extreme performance on the race track. This means that the car must have two characters at once," said Newey.

According to him, the two characters that is characteristic of this vehicle. When used on the highway, the car is claimed to tame and comfortable. But if required in high speed, then the potential energy will be so pronounced.

While the principal of Red Bull Racing team, Christian Horner said that they are always trying to develop advanced cars. "And the AM-RB 001 is the inspiring product of this collaboration spirit," he added.
This AM-RB 001 hypercar is roughly representing the cutting-edge technology of F1, but with the characteristic design of Aston Martin sports car. It also said, this AM-RB 001 will be produced with a limited number. How the whale dung allow Humans eat fish forever?

Ocean is not just a place to stay but also a toilet. A study published in the PLoS Biology journal in August 2011 revealed that about 2.2 million species, from microscopic zooplankton to one-ton creatures, living and defecating in the ocean. Among the many types of animals, whales are most abundant species to produce "garbage".

A study released in the Canadian Journal of Zoology reveals, Sei whales which can reach a length of 18 meters and weighs 45 tons to produce 627 liters of urine a day, the equivalent of 166 gallons of drinking water. Meanwhile, Fin whales along the 26 meters and weight of 72,575 kilograms of producing 974 liters or 257 gallons of urine per day. Total the sea feces has never been measured but dengam easily found at the sea surfaces. The feces of the largest mammals on Earth that has a distinctive color and a pungent odor.

Although it is a metabolic waste, urine and feces of whales useful, and makes human beings can still eat fish. Urine provide nitrogen to the environment. While feces in addition to providing nitrogen also supplies the oceans with phosphorus and iron.

Phytoplankton, a tiny sea creatures that have functions such as a tree, using the nutrients from whale waste to grow. With the nutrients, phytoplankton are able to perform photosynthesis, providing oxygen for other marine creatures, and reproduce.

Phytoplankton growth due to the dirt of whales allows marine ecosystems remain balanced. Zooplankton eat phytoplankton. Zooplankton then eaten by other bigger creatures. Thus the food chain in the oceans work.

Joe Roman, a biologist from the University of Vermont, said that the whale is "ecosystem engineers". Several species of whales prey on creatures that live in the deep sea and throw the waste of the digestive on the surface of the ocean. Whale shows the connection between deep sea creatures and surface that will not be possible to meet each other.

Today, whales are the animals that face many threats. Scientists predicted, caused a decline in whale populations would be disastrous for the organisms that depend on the waste of whales. If left unchecked, the fish stocks as a source of protein for humans in danger. Humans may be difficult to eat fish.

"Research shows that more and more whales, the population of the fish population will also increase. This is because the pope to release nutrients that sustain the life of the fish," said Ramon as quoted by LiveScience, June 25, 2016. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | LIVESCIENCE]
