The Toyota's flying car soon be airs?

No doubt, Toyota is currently regarded as the most popular car manufacturers. The various products were born and has always received great applause from the consumers. And, pretty soon Toyota will re-birth of the most phenomenal product, ie the flying car.

Yes, one of the Japanese famous automotive companies tried to extend their business coverage, one of them by presenting the flying cars. As the flying car name implies, these vehicles are expected to be the future transportation mode that can be run in the streets and fly for through traffic jams.
Back in 2014, Toyota applied for patent that could lead to flying car. (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1blrRg)
Toyota hope, they could be brought the flying car in real life in the near future. This was proven by the success of Toyota bagging the patents that features a sketch of their flying car candidate.

As quoted of the Motoring, Toyota's flying cars patents actually been filed in December 2014, but recent been published by the US Patent and Trademark Office titled 'Shape Morphing Fuselage For an Aerocar'.

When viewed from a rough idea, at first glance the Toyota's flying car will come equipped with a tiny propellers located on the side. This flying car is also very flexible, can be used in the ground or air. Therefore, the wings can be folded and hidden in its body panels. If it will fly, the wings will be widened. Conversely, if it is on the ground, the wings will enter into and hidden.

It quite interesting isn't. We'll see soon, how the development of the flying cars of Toyota. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | MOTORING | AUTONEWS]

Researchers find the new 'Dark Vortex' in the Neptune

More recently, astronomers claim to have found the black spot or more often called dark vortex at the Neptune. According to experts, the black vortex is a high pressure system, which is usually accompanied by a cloud 'companion', high above the planet's surface.

A new picture of the appearance is obtained on May 16, 2016, by the Hubble Space Telescope, to confirm the existence of the dark vortex in the atmosphere of Neptune.

According to a report quoted by the Daily Mail on Friday, June 24, 2016, even though the same features seen ever found during the Voyager 2 trip that crosses Neptune in 1994, the discovery of 'dark vortex' is the first in the 21st century. The discovery was announced on May 17, 2016 at the Central Bureau for Astronomical Telegrams (CBAT) by Mike Wong, an astronomer from the University of California, Berkeley.

Mike analyzing data from Hubble found that the dark vortex of Neptune is a high-pressure system that is usually accompanied by a cloud of light and can be seen from outside the planet. The bright cloud is formed when the flow is circling in the sky above distracted and diverted to the dark vortex, causing freezing into ice crystals of methane gas.

"The dark vortex spread through the atmosphere like a mountain of gas lenses are great. And the cloud 'companion' which is similar to orogafis clouds appear, (pancake) shaped bending mountains circling the Earth," said Mike.
By viewing the vortex a second time, the new Hubble images confirm that OPAL really detected a long-lived feature. (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1blnjW)
Started in July 2015, a bright cloud again seen in Neptune by some observers, ranging from amateur observers to astronomers at the W.M. Keck Observatory in Hawaii.

Astronomers suspect that the cloud is a cloud of light that surrounds the black vortex. Interestingly, the dark vortex of Neptune is only seen along the blue waves, and only Hubble has a high resolution to be able to see the phenomenon.

In September 2015, an annual project of Hubble, Outer Planet Atmosphere Legacy (OPAL), that captures the global map outer planet. And the map reveals a dark location, situated near the bright cloud.

The data obtained from the Hubble, allowing researchers to create a map with high quality, from the dark vortex and its surroundings. The dark vortex of Neptune provides many 'surprises' during the last few years. Starting from the shape, size, and stability - which sometimes crosswise and tortuous.

The vortex also appears in a shorter period of time, compared with the similar anticyclones are seen in Jupiter. The planetary astronomers hope to get a 'bright light' of how the black vortex is formed, originates, and how the vortex interacts with the environment.

"We were intrigued by the mysterious vortex every movement. How can he disappeared quickly," said Joshua Tollefson, NASA Earth award recipient to study the atmosphere of Neptune. Measuring the evolution of dark vortex that will expand knowledge about the black vortex itself and dynamics of the atmosphere around it. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | DAILY MAIL]

But what would happen if the vicious superbike was dress up with the café racer concept?

An Italian fairly renowned automotive designer named Mirco Sapio has managed to turn the motorcycle figure into a very slick 3D design. A radical café racer motorcycle concept that created by him taken the base of RC8 called KTM CR8 (Cafe Racer).

Very radical and futuristic, the design work of Sapio towards the vicious figure of RC8 could be made it very difficult to identified as a café racer motorcycle. But one thing is clear, these wild ideas proved to get a high appreciation of the world's automotive enthusiasts.

With two tones colors of red and white on the tank and frame trellis plus the black accent that consistently covered all of engine area and front section made the CR8 café racer's face looks very 'sadistic'.
Simple but highly detailed, the Sapio's 3D design projects is seen exposing the tubular frame of KTM CR8 concept and made the subframe sector almost disappeared and only replaced by a single seat is very futuristic. Not to mention the front end sector, so made the CR8 café racer's face looked very 'sadistic'. What do you think?

It's BMW CLEVER concept

Who is not familiar with BMW, one of the renowned German automotive manufacturers. Countless models of two-wheeled up to four-wheeled vehicles were produced, and milling about in the streets around the world.

But maybe there among you who have never known that BMW has ever built a quite interesting three-wheeled vehicle concept. Back in the year of 2002, BMW has made a three-wheeled vehicle concept and given the name 'CLEVER,' as quoted from BMW Blog.
BMW CLEVER, a practical, low-emission urban three-wheeled vehicles concept. (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1bsDV7
CLEVER stands for Compact Low Emissions Vehicle for Urban Transport. Three-wheeled vehicle has 3 metres long, 1 metre wide and 1.4 metres tall, weighs in at under 400 kilograms and offers no more than a square metre of frontal area to the airstream.

And this vehicle is built based on a research project was launched in 2002 as an initiative of Berlin’s Technical University and sponsored by the 5th Framework Programme of the EU Commission that aims to create an urban vehicle that is practical and low emissions.

Being CLEVER means sitting one behind the other in a three-wheeled vehicle driven by a low-emission natural gas engine. And that adds up to low aerodynamic drag, minimal weight and a small road footprint.

And CLEVER also means enjoying the riding fun of a motorcycle coupled with the safety of a passenger car. To this end, the driver and passenger sit in a crash-optimised aluminium space frame with computer-controlled tilting during cornering, offering occupants a typical two-wheeler ride experience.

In front mounted a diameter of 17" and 18" for the two rear wheels. This vehicle is designed to be able angled curves and computer-controlled hydraulic rolling system that capable of maintaining its balance as tilted at an angle of 45°, like when riding a motorcycle.

The vehicle used a fully developed single-cylinder engine with 230 cc displacement and output of 12.5 kW, powered by natural gas from two compressed-gas cylinders. It made the vehicle accelerates from standstill to 60 km/h in around 7 seconds, going on to a top speed of approx. 100 km/h.

The two gas cylinders each contain 1.7 kilograms of CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) to provide a range of about 200 kilometres. That means it costs two people 1 euro to travel around 100 kilometres. The cylinders are also designed to be easily refilled at gas filling stations as well as at home.
