Is this the form of the Honda City Adventure scooter?

As quoted from Visordown, that Honda has patented the production version of the Honda City Adventure, and the scooter concept model had been shown at the EICMA event in Milan, Italy, last year..

From the pictures that circulated widely on the Internet, there are some differences that appear in the images compared to the concept version. There was a bit of a surprise here, the Honda City Adventure or called by a ADV or X-ADV in the production version is actually present with the addition of specifications than the concept version.

It's just that the overall design there are no noticeable difference. Among those changes was the front brake calipers on the concept version using conventional models. No other changes in the exhaust, reflectors, fork comes with new faces, as well as a larger hand guard.

Meanwhile, some of the same parts are adjustable windsreen and instrument panel are already using full color screen. Its drivetrain seems the same as the concept version, which uses the engine of the NC750 and transmission system using DCT semi-automatic. Honda City Adventure engine capable of producing the power up to 54 hp.

One thing to note is that scooters use the same basis of its sports models will be priced more expensive. Take the example of Integra scooter that uses a base of the NC700 motor sport, it priced more expensive at Rp.161 million. The same is likely to apply to the City Adventure or ADV or X-ADV. It will sold at the price will be higher than his brother, Honda NC750 motor sport.

A unique wooden carved car of China

Almost everyone must have a dream car or supercar, but the price of a supercar certainly very expensive. As a result, many people do not have enough money to buy it. Rather than harbored a desire, a lot of ways that people could do in order to have their dream car, one way is to make or create a replica of the car of his dreams.

For example, in China where a man managed to create an outstanding work, namely  a supercar out of wood. He is Yu Jietao who managed to create the car of his dreams thanks to his skills. The twenty seven years old man from Jiangxi province, China is indeed known as a reliable carpenter.

As reported by The News Wheel, as the initial stage of manufacture, Yu Jietao bought an electric car used it as the base of modifications. Then he was disarm the original body of the car and replace it with wooden custom body. The new car body is made of rosewood that famous for its good quality.

When viewed more closely, indeed the car design was not similar to any of supercars in general. According to him, he didn't really copy any car when he made it but he guess he wanted a sort of Lamborghini feel about it. The vehicle, which has beetle-wing doors and roofless, measures just over 13 feet in length and is just under five feet in width and height.  It has a dominant color of red and also has many carvings that decorated in some of its body parts.

For example, just look at the hood of the car, the carving results makes the car bonnet shaped like people's faces. While the carving on the door of the car to make it look like wings. But look at the shape that is unique and special, making his wooden supercar is very attracted many people and the media.

Seeing the high interest, many parties later interested to buy this unique car. In fact, one of the parties offered Jietao with a very high price which if the offer accepted could make he can buy an original supercar. Even so, it did not make Jietao sell the his supercar creations. Jietao more decided not to sell his wooden supercar to anyone and in any price.

It’s by no means a street-legal ride, Chinese police warned Jietao of this fact since the car wasn’t made by a licensed manufacturer. But he plans on challenging their decision in the hopes that he might be able to take to the road in his hand-carved car in the near future.. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | THE NEWS WHEEL | MIRROR]

Otto Lilienthal flying machine being tested in wind tunnel

Before the Wright Brothers flew, a German pilot had managed to slide to fly for the first time. That man was Otto Lilienthal is considered the 'first man to fly,' after conducting a trial with a homemade glider 125 years ago.
Before the Wright Brothers or even the lesser known Gustave Whitehead successfully took to the skies, a German aviator named Otto Lilienthal achieved humanity's first successful gliding flights. One such attempt is pictured above. (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1aRYs4)
As reported by Daily Mail, Friday, May 13, 2016, the researchers at the Germany Aerospace Center (Deutschen Zentrums für Luft- und Raumfahrt/DLR) has made a replica of one of the Lilienthal historic flying machine to learn how this plane could be flown, and also to gain insight into the fatal accident that befell this glider.
Researchers at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) have replicated one of Lilienthal's historical gliders to understand how the craft would have flown, and gain insight on his fatal crash. Otto Lilienthal is considered 'the first human being to fly,' after conducting trials with a self-built glider 125 years ago. (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1aRYs4)
Lilienthal has pioneered early flight effort, and passion that eventually led to his death; on August 9, 1869, when the glider stalled and he fell from a height of about 50 feet, broke his neck. And he died at a hospital in Berlin the next day.
DLR started doing the first tests on the replica of 'Lilienthal glider' at low speed the German-Dutch Wind Tunnel in Marknesse, Netherlands. This test will help you understand how far it can be flown, and what maneuvers that can be achieved. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | DAILY MAIL]

Thanks to the good and long partnership, then the MV Agusta and Pirelli decided to celebrate by making a new show bike named 'Pirelli MV Agusta Diablo Brutale' that combines the maximum sporty performance and special innovation for the lovers of two-wheeled vehicles in the world.
A series of red stripes and details give this MV Agusta Brutale a visual reference to the Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tires. (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1aRRxZ)
In this case, Pirelli provides the tires with the latest technology named Diablo Rosso III which is the supersport tires specially made for the latest MV Agusta Brutale 800 motorcycles. Mach 5 hypersonic superjet flight getting closer to reality

A flight from Sydney to London just two hours can be more approached fact, following the success of hypersonic technology trial on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 in the Australian desert.

A joint military research between United States and Australia who did the 10 trials in the largest land testing range in the world, located in Woomera, South Australia, and the Andoya Rocket Range in Norway.
A joint US-Australian military research team is running 10 trials at the world's largest land testing range, Woomera in South Australia, and at Norway's Andoya Rocket Range. Today, the team were able to send a scramjet attached to a rocket booster to an altitude of 172 miles (278km) with a top speed of Mach 7.5. (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1aPYEu)
"This is a revolutionary technology ... and could change the global air travel, as well as cost into space," said Alex Zelinsky, leader of Australian scientists in a statement.

The scientists say the hypersonic technology can save travel time from Sydney to London up to two hours for the flights as far as 17,000 kilometers (10,500 miles). And the hypersonic flight involves the travelling at speeds five times the speed of sound (Mach 5).
There are a number of new supersonic technologies in development. Nasa recently announced it was attempting to build new quiet supersonic technology as part of its X-plane division that could be available in 2020 (Nasa's Quiet Supersonic Technology pictured). (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1aPYEu)
The scientists involved in the program called Hypersonic International Flight Research Experimentation (HIFiRE) are developing machines that can fly at Mach And the rocket experiment conducted on Wednesday can reach a height of 278 kilometers (172 miles) at a top speed of Mach 7.5.

"It's a happy moment ... we want to be able to flying a hypersonic engine at Mach 7," said Michael Smart, a hypersonic experts of the University of Queensland, who involved in the program.

He added that the jet using supersonic combustion engines that use oxygen from the atmosphere as the fuel so it is lighter and faster than the rocket that uses regular fuel.

The latest program also involves the US space agency, NASA, a renowned aircraft maker, Boeing and the German space agency, DLR and so on. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | DAILY MAIL]
