Batmobile 2.0 was raced on the Gumball 3000 Rally 2016

Among the rows of exotic cars that took part in the Gumball 3000 Rally 2016, was a replica of the Batmobile Tumbler, named the 'Batmobile 2.0.' This unique car was created by Saudi Arabia's Team Galag, which is one of the most detailed and eye-catching Batmobiles ever seen outside of a Hollywood set.

As the initial idea, Team Galag wants to show something unique, different and draw attention to the Gumball 3000 Rally event on this year

As quoted of DigitalTrends, no half-hearted, this car is made by taking the base of a Lamborghini Gallardo chassis that uses a wicked 5.2-liter V10 for forward motivation. Even better than the powertrain, its wild looking body made of carbon fiber materials and took time over twelve months to bring this unique car become a reality.

Why Batmobile 2.0? As already known, in 2014, Tim Galag've also took part in the Gumball 3000 2014 by using the Tumbler replica from Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight trilogy. However, vehicles was plagued by quality problems and the team was forced to withdraw.
Team Galag was quite critical of the Tumbler’s production team afterward, so as to this year event, they took a lead engineer with 15 years of experience in Koenigsegg to overcome the problems of this increadible man's toy during the trip. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | DIGITALTRENDS]

Vertical-lift flying car is a perfect Personal Aircraft

One of the great disappointments of 1950s-style retro-future conjecture is that we still don’t have a genuine flying car, ala The Jetsons, parked in the driveway. Well, by the year 2018, we might have several models to choose from. Germany’s Lilium Aviation is promising that its lightweight model will be the most advanced personal aircraft ever developed.
The Lilium needs just 50ft of room to take off. (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1aBmRV)
The Lilium aircraft’s super-compact design will allow the aircraft to lift off vertically from any 50-foot-square flat area. That small footprint -- plus the vehicle’s quiet all-electric engine -- means the Lilium could be a genuine park-in-the-driveway kind of flying car for urban and suburban commuting, according to developers.

The Lilium also features a computer-assisted piloting system that will require only 20 hours of training, designers say -- although presumably aviation authorities will have something to say about that.
The aircraft fits two people and can travel at speeds of up to 250mh. (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1aBmRV)
As qouted of The Telegraph, the Lilium would be classified as a Light Sport Aircraft, designated to fly in uncongested airspace to a maximum altitude of three kilometers, or just under two miles.
The aircraft couples the convenience of a helicopter with the speed of a plane. (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1aBmRV)
More details from the Lilium’s online spec sheet: The aircraft will have a maximum velocity of 250 mph, with a maximum takeoff weight of 600 kg, or just over 1,300 lbs. Designers are aiming for a range of about 500 km, or around 300 miles.
Pilots would only need 20 hours of training before being allowed to fly the small plane. (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1aBmRV)
The Telegraph article notes that, in Europe at least, flying the Lilium would require clearance from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), which would also need to grant permission over any landing site. So while you couldn’t take off from your front yard, you could use your friendly neighborhood helipad facility. Or, naturally, an airport.

Lilium Aviation is run by a team of designers from the Technical University of Munich and has received funding and support from both the European Union and the European Space Agency. Oh, and they’re hiring. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | LILIUM AVIATION | THE TELEGRAPH]

The wild side of Kawasaki Scrambler

It is undeniable that the Scrambler motorcycle triumphant lately among motorcycle enthusiasts. It can be seen from the increasing number of manufacturers who thrusts the Scrambler motorcycle products. Call it a Ducati, Triumph, BMW, and several other manufacturers.

While connoisseurs modifications were also not to be outdone, the Scrambler style as modification concepts also applied to many their favorite motorcycles. One of the Indonesian motorcycle builders who were successfully change the face of motorbikes become the Scrambler is the Bogor-based workshop named Vincent Motor Sport (VMS).

Not kidding, the 2013 Kawasaki ER-6n motorcycle taken as the basis to converted it into a Scrambler motorcycle. To apply the Scrambler concept of course a lot of changes that must be done. In the motorcycle sector body, all original body parts removed and then pinned a custom body with a strong old aura. Starting from the tank, front fender and rear body, made of 1.2 mm iron plate.

Similarly, the headlamp cover in the front, VMS made a custom plate with rounded reflector that use LED lights. And when everything was installed, at the bottom of the tank was sorely lacking. So try to be added to the shroud to make it look fuller.
The muffler looks more fierce and circular under the machine of Kawasaki ER-6n Big Scrambler. (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1ZsiMU)
As Scrambler style in general, the engine parts deliberately opened, practically the ER-6n big engine clearly exposed out. As for the exhaust was also made short like the Scrambler style in general, also looks more fierce and circular under the machine.

Furthermore, to reinforce the Scrambler style, on the legs sector using a dual-purpose tires. Well, for this motorcycle mounted a pair of Mettzeler Karro 3 tires with the Kawasaki ZX-10 OEM rims. For finishing, the ER-6n-based scrambler painted in the red-maroon color of Spies Hecker. Well, cool isn't it?

Really savage look, Huracan Shooting Brake with the tracks

There is a surprising form that looks at one of the Lamborghini supercars. The renowned Italian supercar Lamborghini Huracan has a different look, because it does not use the wheel as usual, but the tracks such as a military tanks.

As reported by Autoevolution on Monday, March 7, 2016, this Lamborghini Huracan was one of the work of digital artists called Rain Prisk Designs. Although only a digital rendered image, but they said that's not an impossible things if the Lamborghini Huracan got such a device, keep in mind it has strong enough power while uses the wheel as usual and can also be used on the snow terrain.

This is not the first work to be displayed to the public. As for the part that involves a mightyLamborghini Huracan being used for such purposes, the furthest kind of efforts in such a direction comes from Alpine ski racer Jon Olsson, who enjoys fitting roof boxes to his supercars.

Other arguments supporting this idea at least also seen at the Geneva Motor Show. The Swiss event has demonstrated coachbuilding is making a slow, but steady comeback, offering us more than one example of this.

Just like several examples above, the rendering image of Huracan that made by Rain Prisk Designs equipped with tracks. Which mean, that's no longer a new work and no need to doubt their abilities to be made like that. In conclusion, it is not impossible for a supercar that equipped with chain tracks instead? At least to conquer and speeding on the snowy road. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | AUTOEVOLUTION]

Does the Bulldog will be manufactured by Honda?

Honda seems to be immediately realize a motorcycle concept called the Bulldog. It is known after its patent drawings has been spread on the cyberspace. As reported by Visordown on Monday, May 2, 2016, the motorcycle concept which was introduced for the first time in March, 2015 have pointed out will soon be produced by the end of this year.

The Bulldog is made using a base of Honda CB400F, and as well as a naked version of the CB500F. In terms of design, this motorcycle can not be included into the type of scrambler, but also not an adventurer motorcycle.

Apart from that, this bike does look like a bulldog. One character is a low seat, as well as the tire has a width of 15 inches. According Motorcruze, Honda deliberately made it like that and wants to create a new trend.

Some parts of the motorcycle is also patented. Eg smart storage units on both sides of the fuel tank. These smart slots can be used for storing the tent, for example.

From its engine side, the Bulldog equipped with a liquid cooled, four stroke engine that has a capacity of 400 cc, and coupled with a six-speed transmission system.

This motorcycle is designed for urban and rural roads. It is said also, the Bulldog will be created specifically for adventurous beginners. Not known, where the motorcycles will be sold.

Manx, the key of the formation of the solar system?

In 2014 ago, astronomers discovered a first comet with no 'tail' that the arrangement of its constituent compounds will make the theories of the creation of the solar system that is already questionable.

According to research quoted by Reuters on Sunday, May 1, 2016, the comet called 'Manx,'is made of the rock materials that are normally found on Earth. Most comets are made of chunks of ice and other frozen compounds, which are formed in the cold regions of the solar system.
The new comet, known as C/2014 S3, also-called 'Manx' comet, which was discovered in 2014 by the Panoramic Survey Telescope and Rapid Response System, or Pan-STARRS, is shown in this artist rendering released on April 29, 2016. (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1a258T)
Researchers believe the newly discovered comets are made of the same compounds with the composition of the Earth, then bounced into the solar system like a gravitational slingshot that helps the planet occupies its position.

The scientists who involved in solving the mystery of tailless comet, now looking for how many number of types of the comet, the outcome could have been solved a long debate over the origin of the solar system.

Oliver Hainaut, an astronomer who works closely with space research centers in Germany, said the findings the number of comets 'Manx' will be the new benchmark study the formation of the solar system.

"Once we knew the numbers, we'll know if the Earth had the planet children wandering in the solar system or formed separately indeed," said Oliver.

The new comet known as C/2014 S3, first discovered in 2014 by the Panoramic Survey Telescope and Rapid Response System, or more familiar with the name Pan-STARRS.

In particular, comets coming from the same place with the 'Manx' has a very bright tail as it approached the Sun, as a result of ice evaporation on the body of the comet and the reflected sunlight. However, when seen from a distance twice the distance of Earth to the Sun, the C/2014 S3 is not shiny at all and has no tail.

The study analysis then shows, instead of having a compound of the element of ice, the comet 'Manx' instead composed of the rocks materials similar to the rocks that form a ring circle of Mars and Jupiter.

"The comet was visible 'pure', such as long-buried objects and freezing in the solar system for a long time," said Karen Meech, an astronomer of the University of Hawaii.

Meech also said the discovery of another the comet 'Manx' will greatly help the scientists to create computer models that are used to stimulate the formation of the solar system. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | REUTERS]
