Thor and Väder Come as Koenigsegg Agera Final Edition

Street BEAST - Let's take a trip down memory lane, as it's essential not to overlook this remarkable moment. Back in February 2018, the renowned Swedish car manufacturer, Koenigsegg, unveiled the ultimate version of the Agera, aptly named Thor and Väder.

Within the annals of Koenigsegg's history, the Agera variant claims the title of being the longest-standing model in its production lineup, dating back to the company's inception in 1994. Throughout its existence, the Agera model has firmly established Koenigsegg's position at the forefront of hypercar innovation.

Each iteration of the Agera has brought forth significant advancements. Notably, Koenigsegg opted to move away from supercharged engines, instead favoring turbocharged engines for the Agera series. This deliberate engine selection consistently delivers impressive power, peaking at 1,360 horsepower. Remarkably, this power output surpasses the 1-megawatt threshold, boasting a ratio of 1 horsepower per kilogram of vehicle weight.

The Vader's rear wing, although smaller, eschews the central fin. A bold rear spoiler takes center stage, flaunting a distinctive cutout that synergizes with the active rear aero elements.

Adorning the front of the Agera FE cars are canards and winglets, both meticulously designed. Every vehicle in this collection has received a robust engine upgrade, elevating their power output to an impressive one megawatt. This evolution allows the Agera FE to rival the speed capabilities of the Bugatti Chiron, a masterstroke to resonate with prospective hypercar enthusiasts.
Yet, the FE generation does not mark the culmination of the Agera lineage. A pivotal moment arrived at the 2019 Geneva International Motor Show when Koenigsegg proudly unveiled the Koenigsegg Jesko, poised to succeed the Agera RS. The Jesko introduces innovative features, notably employing active wings that further enhance its performance capabilities. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | KOENIGSEGG | KOENIGSEGGWORLD | MOTORAUTHORITY | CONCEPTCARZ ]
