Fisker Inc., an innovative American automotive company headquartered in California, is capitalizing on this modern era by introducing groundbreaking electric vehicle innovations, after the project was announced in 2022. The latest addition to their lineup is the Fisker Ronin, a four-door electric gran touring car that recently made its debut at a recent Fisker Product Vision Day 2023 event held in Huntington Beach, California in August 3, 2023.

The Ronin boasts an impressive cruising range of up to 600 miles (approximately 966 km) and comes equipped with features that surpass those found in the Lucid Air Dream Edition. The name draws inspiration from the masterless samurai of ancient Japan, symbolizing a wandering swordsman-for-hire ready to take on any adversary. This moniker suits Fisker's new electric car perfectly, as it is poised to challenge the competition in the realm of sporty electric vehicles.

Additionally, the roof is made of carbon fiber and can be folded, making the Fisker Ronin the world's first four-door, five-seat convertible hardtop.
The Ronin is powered by a triple-motor all-wheel drive powertrain capable of producing up to 1,000 hp, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in a jaw-dropping 2 seconds. Innovatively, Fisker has integrated the battery packs throughout the vehicle body structure instead of conventional floor placement. This integration aims to maximize the range, targeting an impressive 600 miles (approximately 966 km). Although the interior of the Ronin was not showcased at the launch event, it is speculated that it will bear similarities to the Ocean model, featuring recycled materials and rotating screens.

Fisker plans to commence production by the end of 2025, likely positioning the Ronin as a 2026 model. The production process, whether with Magna Steyr or Foxconn, is yet to be clarified by the American manufacturer. In the fierce luxury EV market, Fisker's new sports car will face competition from similar offerings by Polestar, Genesis, and Tesla. Reservations for the Fisker Ronin are already open, requiring a $2,000 deposit, which is only a fraction of the starting price of $385,000.
Fisker Inc. is paving the way for the future of electric vehicles through the remarkable Ronin. With its exceptional range and powerful performance, the Ronin is poised to revolutionize the electric car industry. As EV technology advances, consumers can look forward to witnessing more groundbreaking innovations from Fisker and other automotive pioneers in the years ahead. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | FISKER | MOTORTREND | ]
