This latest version of the iconic Fairlady Z comes with not only minor technical updates but also introduces several new variants. Here the two most noteworthy additions to the lineup are the Nissan Fairlady Z Nismo positioned as the top-tier, and Customized Edition variants.

In previous teaser video, the Z Nismo caught the attention of enthusiasts, and now we get to delve into its exceptional features. Visually, the Nissan Fairlady Z Nismo boasts a distinct Nismo aero kit that not only enhances its aggressive appearance but also improves cooling and downforce while driving.

The most prominent change is the implementation of the Nissan Grand-Nose (G-Nose), inspired by the classic Fairlady 240ZG of 1970s which lends the front fascia a more elongated and striking. Other noticeable exterior upgrades include aerodynamic front bumper, side skirts, rear bumper-diffuser with Nismo's signature red accent, and a honeycomb mesh motif grille featuring the iconic Nismo badging.

To further enhance performance, Nissan made the chassis 2.5 percent stiffer, ensuring a responsive and engaging driving experience. The 19-inch black forged wheels complemented by exclusive Nismo brakes with 15-inch rotors at the front and 13.8-inch discs at the rear complete the sporty package.

Under the hood, the Fairlady Z Nismo comes with a performance upgrade. The twin-turbo V6 engine, with a 2,997 cc capacity, has been finely tuned to unleash 309 kW (414 horsepower) and 520 Nm of peak torque, available from 2,000 to 5,200 rpm. The 9-speed automatic transmission delivers quick and smooth shifts, ensuring an exhilarating ride.

As of now, Nissan has not announced the exact release date, but the Fairlady Z Nismo is expected to hit the market in the fall of this year. However, due to limited production volume, the Nismo variant will be exclusively available for consumers who have pre-ordered and wish to upgrade.

Reportedly in Japan, the price for the Fairlady Z Nismo starts at JPY 9,200 million (approximately US $64.704 or Rp. 975 million), making it the most expensive variant in the lineup.
