Designed under the visionary guidance of Flavio Manzoni at the Ferrari Style Center, the KC23 shares its setup, chassis, and engine with the acclaimed 488 GT3 Evo 2020. However, this project required a truly unique donor car. Having triumphed on the track since 2016 and updated with the 'Evo 2020' kit three years ago, this extraordinary vehicle has secured over 530 victories and an impressive 119 championships, making it the most successful Ferrari in history in terms of endurance races.

The KC23 is exclusively tailored for non-competitive track use, featuring a distinctive dual configuration that sets it apart. While its stationary stance showcases its pure, streamlined, and sinuous forms, once in motion, it reveals automated opening air intakes and a striking rear wing that captivate onlookers with their sheer presence.

The development of the KC23 involved meticulous attention to detail, particularly in terms of downforce and thermals, to ensure that its performance matches that of the donor car. Ingenious panel designs with specially crafted kinematic mechanisms automatically activate when the KC23 is started. These mechanisms serve a dual purpose: the front panel behind the wheel uncovers a flow diverter, enhancing front vertical load and maintaining aerodynamic balance, while the rear panel ensures optimal airflow for intercooler and ancillary component cooling, as well as engine intake.
In the interior of the Ferrari KC23, it shows completeness like a racing car in general, such as a roll cage, racing steering wheel, and racing seats. (Picture from: Ferrari)
The KC23 boasts vertically opening doors, reminiscent of the iconic LaFerrari supercar. This architectural marvel, achieved without any modifications to the greenhouse or structural elements, provides a touch of elegance. Additionally, the front mudguard features a simplified opening system, allowing easy inspection and maintenance with the removal of just two pins. The redesigned light clusters, inspired by the Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo concept car, deliver an astonishing visual effect when illuminated, especially the methacrylate light blades at the rear.

Reflecting the KC23's design philosophy, even the windows exhibit a seamless assembly that conceals pillars, gaskets, and serigraphs, creating a dome effect reminiscent of the aeronautics industry. The metallic finish of the windows seamlessly integrates them into the car body, resulting in a futuristic and visually striking aesthetic.
