Nissan Z Nismo ready to launch later this summer

Legend is BACK - After last year Nissan released an enhanced model of the Nissan Z. After a year, to be precise, at the beginning of 2023, the Japanese manufacturer was also caught on camera testing two models, which are believed to be one of the Nissan Z models on the streets. Is this a sign this model will be launched soon?

Of several Nissan Z Club's spyshot photos, there're two cars believed to be the Nissan Z seen carrying out a road test somewhere in Arizona, United States. The first unit was tightly wrapped in a camouflage robe, while the other was wrapped in a black cover with additional thick padding on several sides.

This is not the first time the Japanese automaker have been caught on camera. Last year, Nissan already did the testing. Even so, it can be seen that the front bumper has received an improved shape with the embedding of a massive intake that is split in half in the middle.

Then on the side of the body you can see the use of wheels which are allegedly lighter than the Nissan Z Performance model. Approximate size 19 inches. Previously it was seen using Dunlop tires, but for this one, unfortunately, it was not clear. Its thin nine spoke are thin the large red calipers that seem to be the same as the other variants. However, disc utilization is expected to be greater to compensate for the pacemaker's output.

A sportier feel from the standard version is emitted strongly, including an increasingly aggressive rear area. The bumper features square reflectors and vertical accents between the dual exhaust systems. Then the stop lamp whose shape follows the style of a Formula 1 racing car, although it is not clearly visible in the photo. It is possible that there will be more adjustments so that the appearance is much different from other variants.
Inside, the Recaro sport bucket seats are likely the biggest change for this variant, as well as the new steering wheel with the red center line up top. (Picture from: MotorAuthority)
At its peak recently, this Japanese manufacturer has also put up a teaser video of a car that is believed to be the Nissan Z Nismo on the internet as if the car is spreading its charm by shredding tires, at the same time greeting its fans who have been patiently waiting for its debut.

Regarding the Nissan Z Nismo, until now the manufacturer is not revealed yet information regarding its drivetrain specifications. However, what is seen in the teaser video is that what is installed under the hood is a 3.0-liter V6 engine supported by a dual turbo, which is likely to be capable of producing up to 500 hp.

And to support the performance of the machine, it seems that it will be mated to two transmission options, namely a 6-speed manual and a 9-speed automatic. If the Z Nismo version is sold, it is estimated that the price would be above the Nissan Z Proto Spec, considering the engine changes that are expected to be much wilder plus the addition of various control support features.

Nissan itself reportedly offers the Nissan Z in several variants. The first option offered in the United States is the Nissan Z Sport, which costs $ 39,990 or Rp.598 million. Its value can still be increased with the addition of components. Then above it is the Nissan Z Performance for $ 49,990 or Rp. 747 million.
The highest is the Nissan Z Proto Spec, which sells for $ 52,990 or Rp. 792 million. Furthermore, Nissan promises to release more details later this summer, which could be a kind of sign that the Nissan Z Nismo would be joined the lineup before the end of the year. Well, let's just wait for the launch date. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | NISSAN | CARSCOOPS | CARANDDRIVER | THEDRIVE ]
