A unique one-off Ferrari-engined supercar called EC Only One P8
ONE-OFF As a true automotive enthusiast, of course you are familiar with the many models of supercars came out of the Italian' prancing horse automaker since 1947. Among the many models, of course you are familiar with several legendary models such as the 1965 Ferrari 330 P2, the 1966 Ferrari 330 P3, followed by the 1967 Ferrari 330 P4, which proved to have dominated the 24-Hours Le Mans throughout the 1960s before being forced to share the podium with the Ford GT40in the late 1960s.

It was also known that the Maranello-based manufacturer had launched the Ferrari P6 Berlinetta Speciale by Pininfarina in 1968. Well, it so famous the Ferrari P-Series racing cars then inspired the birth of the Ferrari Competizione P4/5 by Pininfarina in 2006 which was built in collaboration with Pininfarina for James Glickenhaus, and is based on Ferrari F430 Scuderia.

Then does the story end here? Of course not, apparently there's a former racer from Italy named Enea Casoni has managed to build racing car by his-own from the scratch to completion at his private workshop in the town of Ferrara, near Bologna, Italy. This home-made supercar later known as EC Only One P8, which in design generally took inspiration from the legendary Ferrari P-Series of the 1960s, as you can see that in almost all parts of the bodywork.

While this isn't exactly the creation of Ferrari, this Enea Casoni's unique supercar is built based on the Ferrari F430 and features completely new bodywork. As you can see, the height of this car is not up to 1.1 meters, according to the maker this is intended to reduce weight as much as possible. As a result, the the P8's car weight was recorded at only 1,200 kg, that's 149 kg lighter than the donor car which weighed around 1,349 kg.

As previously mentioned, the EC Only One P8 supercar has a unique design inspired by the Ferrari's legendary racing cars of the 1960s, coupled with the appearance of sharp details on the exterior. So, the P8's bodywork is made from an alloy of aluminum-carbon which installed on aluminum chassis and strengthened by chrome molybdenum roll bars.
Furthermore, the EC OnlyOne P8 is powered by an 4.3-liter V8 taken from the Ferrari F430 that's claimed could be spewed 600 hp of power, and is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox to drive the rear-wheels.

The Enea Casoni-made supercar is given a yellow finishing touch, while the black part is not paint but carbon, so that's making it look like has a retro and futuristic design impressions at once. From the front fascia, it looks minimalist, with a large air inlet on the bumper, and the projector model headlights that also have air inlets at the bottom it.

The prettiest part of the car's exterior is on the back. It appeared in a very simple model, no strange curves and body joint lines, only 2 round brake lights with a central turn signal. The placement of the exhaust is also in the middle between the brake lights, and as a racing car, the P8 is equipped with 4 large diffuser fins.

Uniquely, there's an iconic gullwing doors to enter the car's cabin, and when inside You could found the interior sticks to the functional race car aesthetics with aluminum, carbon, leather, and Alcantara going into the cockpit décor, coupled with the gated shifter which is a clear nod to a bygone era.
Even though it is included as a racing car, it has quite complete features. For example, it has traction control, reverse camera, parking sensors, and the most unique thing is air conditioning, yes this car still has air conditioning inside its cabin.
And related to the price, the last time the EC Only One P8 was offered by the James Edition website started in 2018 at a pretty fantastic price of £2.18 million or the equivalent of $2.8 million (around Rp.41,080 billion). And to this day this one-of-a-kind supercar is still waiting for those of you who are willing to exchange it for a pretty fantastic amount of money.
