Here's an astonishing Brazilian-made TMC M1 hypercar
Track BEAST - Once upon the time, from the southern tip of the American continent had stired the world some time ago when a hypercar appeared whose figure was later revealed to the Twitter's posting by Sergio Fonseca, in May, 2020, which said the hypercar was built by former F1 and IndyCar racer, named Tarso Marques.
Shortly after that, the former Brazilian racer who has established his reputation as an international automotive builder and tuner also presented to public similar figure car creation which was said to be used in the Brazilian Endurance Championship. If we look at its appearance, it looks like a kind of hypercar lifted from an automotive designer's fantasy and then realized into real. Reportedly at the time that the hypercar equipped with a turbo-powered V6 engine had been tested two weeks earlier, and would join the grid whenever racing returns to normal in Brazil.

Furthermore, as quoted from Nivelando Aengenharia, the hypercar mentioned above is called TMC M1, it is a racing car prototype developed by Tarso Marques, and of course, as an automotive builder, he has produced many works. You might even recognize and remember one of the automaker's creations such this quite spectacular, wild futuristic-themed hubless motorcycle named the TMC Dumont, that we've discussed sometime ago.

Back to the prototype, according to Tarso himself this is the first step of a larger project, which aims to develop the first Brazilian hypercar, a race car that will become a test mule for a concept that will be implemented in a road car. Meanwhile, in its development, it has been noted that several 3D renderings of racing cars have been released since early 2020 via Tarso's social media, even with the appearance of some of these renderings showing that the car was a unique and quite sophisticated one.

Unlike most other concept cars that hardly ever leave the paper, this car is in much better condition, with two models that have been realized so far. The first car realized in the first half of March 2020, and the second ones in early November 2020. And when it undergoing test on the race track, the TMC M1 hypercar's images were uploaded to the internet, so that it earned a lot of comments from the public who dubbed it the Batmobile, due to the sleek and menacing profile matched to the black body color.

The hypercar, which has an appearance similar to the Batmobile, is said to be the first to be manufactured in Brazil, has an aerodynamic bodywork that was designed and developed by using the Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) system, and is built on a carbon monocoque chassis.

Not surprisingly, the hypercar finally has a fairly light weight, which is around 940 kg. Another interesting thing is the steering wheel, also developed locally in Brazil which being closer to a F1 or LMP car and that is really a step forward compared to another local prototypes.

As we can see from its appearance, this TMC M1 hypercar does not have a conventional door, so to enter the cabin you have to open the canopy, like a fighter jet. Still in front, the nose is raised like most formula cars. Furthermore, we can see the existence of a very unique shaped front fender vent.
Moving from the front, there is the omnipresent dorsal fin and a pack of louvers to vent hot air from the radiator and engine compartments. Rear brake air cooling is provided by intakes on the rear fenders, a solution fairly common on current LMPs. The rear wing does not seem to have a central support, being kept in place by the endplates, however the dorsal fin may be doubling as a support here.

Besides that, this TMC M1 hypercar is also equipped with many advanced features such as DRS, ABS, TC, SW, MAP, and turbo-boost. The most outstanding items however, are the rotating knobs on both side labelled F. Flap and R. Flap, that may be an indication of some sort of aerodynamic adjustment attached on the car.

As for the drivetrain, as previously mentioned, the Brazilian-made TMC M1 hypercar will adopt a twin-turbo V6 engine (unfortunately, there was no specific mention of where this engine would come from). There is a possibility of this hypercar will use a mid-mounted naturally aspirated Chevy V6 engine which has highly modified coupled with Hewland sequential 6-speed transaxle.

As a true Brazilian, Tarso Marques is relying heavily on his compatriot Brazilian suppliers for his unique car like; exhaust manifold and engine tunning from Illicit Customs, Master Power turbochargers, W45-I wastegates from Auto Boost Performance Parts, fuel pump from Infutech Billet Parts, everything managed by a S8000 Injepro ECU. Besides, like we said previously, the chassis is a carbon monocoque built by Rallc Usinagem&Composto.
