Because indeed they have long conducted study, research and made so many new breakthroughs in order to present electric car products. For example, the Cadillac Celestiq was the first vehicle to offer a sunroof glass with suspended particles called Suspended Particle Device (SPD) allows four zones of variable illumination made each passenger could be set their own level of personalization. This technology is something new, where the glass are basically slipping small particles in between two glass panels. From there, an electric charge can be sent through the glass which coats all the dark particles, making them more opaque or less opaque.
The Cadillac Celestiq EV will be composed of more than 100 of 3D printed components and also be equipped with the latest Ultra Cruise features of hands-free-on-the-highways driver assistance. (Picture from: Tempo)
Besides being equipped with such advanced technology, this Celestiq EV is built on GM's Ultium platform. One of the advantages is in terms of dimensions, where this electric car comes with dimensions that are not so wide. Meanwhile, in terms of capabilities, most likely that the Celestiq EV carries Ultra Cruise technology, the next evolution of the already excellent GM's Super Cruise, so the Cadillac Celestiq EV has the ability to cover a distance of 400 miles, and also equipped with a 350 kW fast charging feature, coupled with an advanced autonomous driving.

“The Celestiq's exterior and interior are designed to reflect a holistic vision of American luxury. With the Celestiq, we have taken the craft to a higher level, allowing us to add an element of beauty to the cabin," said Cadillac's Interior Design Manager, Tristan Murphy. Although it's still in the concept stage for a while, the exterior and interior designs take inspiration from classic cars such as their V16-powered pre-war classics and the 1957 Eldorado Brougham.

"These vehicles represent the pinnacle of luxury in their respective eras, and help make Cadillac the world standard," said Tony Roma, Cadillac's Chief Engineer. "The Celestiq comes in sedan form, as its configuration offers the ultimate in luxury experience that builds on that pedigree and captures the spirit we wanted to express."

The interior may be even more astonishing than the exterior. "We combine the beauty of function with the beauty of form," says Laetitia Lopez, Cadillac's Color and Trim Creative Designer. "We had to reconsider all aspects to immerse the customer, all their senses, and create a connection with the vehicle through the finest original materials, extraordinary details and state-of-the-art technology."

The Celestiq EV's cabin looks impressive with its massive 55-inch-diagonal state-of-the-art LED display, which is just an inch smaller than the Mercedes Hyperscreen but delivers more screen. Cadillac says the 55-inch screen allows passengers to watch video content with an electronic digital blind feature, which prevents drivers from seeing it from their point of view. That's not the only screen, as there's also a screen on the console, a door-mounted screen for the rearview camera, a screen on the rear console, and two screens on the front seat backs.
Finally, on July 22, 2022, the Cadillac Celestiq EV made its first debut, which the automaker claimed that the car is their future flagship electric sedan. However, there is still not much news related to the production of the Cadillac Celestiq EV, the American manufacturer promises this car will be the most sophisticated vehicle available to date, and reportedly the production version will be sold for $300,000 (Rp. 4.49 billions). *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | CADILLAC | CARSCOOPS | CARANDDRIVER ]
