This unique Lambo supercar is designed by Jorge Antonio Fernández García aka Joan Fercí, and completed built in 2000 by a company called Automobiles Lamborghini Latinoamérica SA. after in 1995 obtained permission from the Automobili Lamborghini SpA. to build the Lamborghini variant and distribute it in Mexico, and throughout Latin America including the Caribbean. Even the South American company also said on its official website that they were allowed to build a limited series of special track-oriented models and even made their own concepts with Lamborghini components, which would later produce and named the Lamborghini Coatl.

One of the most special ways that they produced the car and make it unique was the fact that the steering wheel is made specifically by a single craftsman with a size that is suitable and has been adjusted to the hand and fingers of the owner. Likewise, the pedals and seats are specially made to fit the actual owner. This seat will be made of the mold taken from the person who would be driving the Coatl, while the weight will also be taken into account when finishing the driver's seat.

Then the car's exterior paintwork is also done in accordance with the owner's wishes, which means there are no two Coatls the same. The paint specifically was made of 14 coats of the owner-selected-shades and depending on where the sun was in the sky during the daytime, and the tint of the paint can shift from an orange to a red color with a brown highlight. And continued to the color of the interior part which is covered with genuine leather would also be dyed on the owner’s demand and even this South American company also stitched in such a way the owner's name or initials on the carpet and the seats.

In 2000, when the car was first officially presented to the public, it caused quite a stir among the Lamborghini's fanatics and was seen as a love-or-hate design. Because according to them, Lamborghini Latinoamérica has transformed their precious Diablo into some weird blob of metal, the term they might use to describe the figure of the Lamborghini Diablo Coatl. This is understandable because the design has always been a vital necessity for Lamborghini's hardcore fans, and if you have a bit of money left over and want to stand out against regular Murcielago and Huracan owners, this is definitely the way to do it.
