One such remarkable example is a car that draws heavy inspiration from the Mach 5, a famous racing car featured in the legendary classic cartoon TV series, Speed Racer. Many of you may vividly recall the white-colored, fast car known as the Mach 5.
Interestingly, this cartoon TV series car also served as a source of inspiration for Jerry Patrick, affectionately known as 'Junk.' While his nickname may not possess the same magical allure as the Mach 5, his accomplishments are undeniably inspiring.

To bring his dream to life, Junk decided to construct a Mach 5 replica based on his 1994 Chevrolet Corvette. Upon careful consideration, he realized that the Corvette's shape and dimensions were a perfect fit for recreating the Speed Racer car. Junk took radical measures to overhaul his beloved Corvette, making extensive modifications from the nose to the rear end, all in the pursuit of crafting the Mach 5.
Junk's dedication extended to the car's interior as well. He painstakingly ensured that the interior captured the essence of Speed Racer, with a vibrant red color scheme. The process of creating a Mach 5 replica as close to the original as possible required considerable time and effort, with approximately 90 days dedicated to modification and the remaining 30 days allocated for polishing and stabilization.
