The name of Wiesmann GmbH. itself might be quite strange even in the ears of the world's car enthusiasts. The German automotive company was founded by two brothers Martin and Friedhelm Wiesmann in 1988.
At first the company made an open roof conversion for some BMW car models and then launched its first car-made, the Wiesmann Roadster MF3 in 1993. Then the company made various types of cars with the BMW engines before it went slowly into bankruptcy in 2014.
