Ford not only produces mere passenger cars. The American reknown automotive manufacturer also makes the cars specially used in the racing track. And the Goodwood Festival of Speed become a moment used by Ford to show off its newest track beast named the 'Ford GT MK II.' The exterior has changed a lot. Ford embed a variety of new devices to improve aerodynamics, including: rear wing, diffuser, splitter, diffuser, fender, dive plane and large-sized spoilers. This tire is able to accept lateral gravity pressure up to 2G. To ensure reliable driving, Ford cut its weight by 90 kg. The cabin certainly has a roll cage that protects the driver on the circuit when experiencing an incident. There's also Sparco bucket seats with a 6 point safety belt are applied. By carrying a 3.5 liter twin-turbo V6 engine, the GT MK2 can produce peak power reaching of 709 PS. Thrust is channeled to the wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission system. The gear shift uses the same as a standard Ford GT, but is tuned again to fit the designation. To maintain optimal engine performance, Ford even applied an innovative cooling system that involves water spray and only active when the engine has a high temperature rise.
