Are the Audi e-Tron GT worthy to be wait for in 2020?

One of the famous German manufacturers, Audi has participated to enliven the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show by bringing a four-door coupe called the Audi e-Tron GT Concept as a display car for their booth.

It is also reported that Audi Sport GmbH whose responsible for the e-tron GT concept to enter the production line. And it is believed that the cabin deck architecture is flat allowing the sports car car to present the appropriate weight distribution to control the power of 590 hp.

This four-door car has a length of about 4,960 mm, a width of 1,960 mm and a height of 1,380 mm. Furthermore, Audi stated that the lightweight body construction of the e-tron GT concept was obtained from a combination of various materials.

When detailed, the roof uses carbon which is supported by aluminum material and supporting by another elements from steel material as well. Not even hesitate to develop it, they collaborated with Porsche, but still retain Audi's DNA.

As a four-door coupe with four seats, with wheelbase of 2,900 mm. Although as a sports car, Audi also claims that the cabin has the best utility for passenger comfort.

Besides that, Audi ensures that there is no material from animals used in the car's interior. Starting from the use of synthetic leather on the seats and other trim surfaces. Fabic fabric is obtained from recycled fiber for the base of the seat and also the armrest and center console.

The use of microfiber material is applied to the headlining and trim on the door pillar. As for the basic carpet section using Econyl, it is recycled from fish fishing nets.

Also present in this car are two storage compartments, the Audi e-tron GT concept is truly packaged as the true Gran Turismo. At the rear provides up to 390 liters of space, while in the hood there is an additional 100 liters.

Then the performance of this car is also very capable, where acceleration from rest to 100 kph is reached in 3.5 seconds. While to reach 200 kph only need 12 seconds. And the maximum speed is adjusted and limited to only 240 kpr.

While the e-tron GT concept mileage for one-time fully charged lithium-ion batteries reaches 400 km according to the Europe’s new WLTP (Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure) standards. The company claimed that super fast charging for e-tron GT concept is equipped with 800 volt cable. It only takes 20 minutes to charge the battery up to 80% and is enough to cover 320 km.
