Renault's Level 4 autonomous vehicles concept

Car development from time to time always sees the needs of the community. While one of the needs that is coming into existence today is the concept of autonomous electric vehicles that can share vehicles through online applications.

Renault who saw this need tried to answer it by presenting their newest autonomous vehicles concept called Renault EZ-Ultimo, who have made its debut at the Paris Motor Show 2018, October 4-14, 2018. This concept model also complements the EZ-GO and EZ-PRO families.

As reported by Carscoops, Renault considers the concept of the future car to be electricity, connected, and autonomous. The creation of Ultimo is based on the same idea in their two previous cars, namely as an autonomous electric mobility solution that can accommodate many people, such as public vehicles that Uber can use to offer the sharing-driving concept to their customers.

Although this electric car is very long and has a low spurred power capability, this vehicle can automatically lift itself above the mound, and use a four-wheeled steering wheel to navigate some narrow European city streets, because this car is also designed to get around.

If you look at the design of Renault EZ-Ultimo Concept is designed to have a futuristic style. Then many windows are provided to increase visibility, including the roof part that is designed with glass materials.

Overall this car can accommodate three passengers in a sitting position facing each other. Then to improve comfort while traveling, this car is equipped with autonomous technology. The Ultimo cabin has a cocoon-like design that is comfortable to ride, with a blend of interior materials made of wood, marble and leather.

The French car manufacturer said Renault EZ-Ultimo Concept used Level 4 autonomous driving technology, which meant it could operate in an area that had been mapped before, so this vehicle would not get out of its lane.
These Renault EZ-Ultimo is still not intended to be owned individually, but is more suitable to be used as part of a ride-hailing scheme. But it is not impossible that someday all can own this vehicle. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | OVERDRIVE | CARSCOOPS]
