Nissan and Italdesign collaborate to build these elegant sport sedan

To celebrate their 50th annivesary, Italdesign in 2018 and Nissan GT-R in 2019, made them collaborate to present an elegant car named Nissan GT-R50 Italdesign. Actually these sports sedan was built on the basis of Nissan GT-R Nismo. This car is described by Nissan as "ultra-limited".

The inaugural launch to the public in Europe has been carried out some time ago at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2018 ​​at Chichester, England, on ​​July 12, 2018. There is no information on whether it will be available on the market, or become a car that will be produced in the future.

Produced and processed by Italdesign, but the Nissan Design Center in London and the United States were also assigned to design it. The Nissan GT-R50 has a combination of Striking Liquid Kinetic Gray paint, with the addition of gold accent highlights, that making the GT-50R more attractive.

On the roof, the height is 54 mm lower than the GT-R standard version and goes down even further, to display a profile that is much slimmer. There is also a large size wing on the back that can be adjusted, complete with a new four round rear lights, but still characterizes the typical GT-R trademark.

Inspired by the GT3 racing car, Nissan completely overhauled the 3.8-liter GT-R turbocharged engine. If the standard version of GT-R Nismo only produces power of 592 hp, while the Nissan GT-R50 can blow up to 710 hp and 780Nm of torque.
Large turbocharge and intercooler also installed into it, followed by an upgrade of the fuel injector and piston help provide large output as well. While the 6-speed twin-clutch gearbox and differentials are also overhauled to overcome the additional burden.
