As a result of collaboration with the developer of 'Gran Turismo Sport' racing game on the PlayStation 4 platform, McLaren recently launched the concept of a virtual hypercar that was named "McLaren Ultimate Vision Gran Turismo."

Although made for games, the Ultimate Vision Gran Turismo is a representation of the McLaren car design in 2030 that focuses on the driver.
"This car is an expression of the McLaren's design pillar and is a vision that we have planned for 2030 in the future." said Rob Melville, McLaren Design Director.

The cockpit design of this car has a wide enough glass which allowed the driver to see more clearly in all directions. At first glance there might be nothing strange with this virtual McLaren hypercar. But if we take a closer look, the Ultimate Vision Gran Turismo has a driver position that is arguably ... quite strange. How not, instead of sitting as on the most cars, these car's driver must drive with the body in prone position and the heads up.

Then the Ultimate Vision GT is also equipped with a super sophisticated aerodynamic design system called Active Aero. This system allows this car to get the best higher downforce when cornering with an open-air vent system.
This super-sophisticated cockpit and aerodynamic system is equipped with high-performance twin-turbo 4.0L V8 engine to drive the rear wheels, while for each of front wheel is driven by an electric motor.
