Pininfaina has revealed the full-scale design concept of their latest luxury hypercar, Automobili Pininfarina PF0 ahead of its debut at the Pebble Beach Concours next weekend. Although the production version will debut at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show held in March next year, this design study will give us an idea of what we can expect later.

Previously the tempting images of PF0 by Automobili Pininfarina have been revealed to the public, they gave the idea of the much anticipated design of this electric hypercar that will go into production by 2020. The appearance reflects extreme technology and thin strength under metal sheets, with exterior design working towards the classical Bauhaus ideology. from the following function form.

The Pininfarina PF0 will be an electric hypercar, developed in-house by Pininfarina SpA Design Studio. The Italian company has revealed plans to build a number of hypercar in 2020 from the Cambiano headquarters, Italy. They have stated that there will only be 150 units worldwide.

The PF0 is in the final stages of design. It takes inspiration from famous Pininfarina cars like Cisitalia, Modulo and Sintesi. Very little information is released other than interior photos. Inside, Pininfarina PF0 will get a minimalist layout and focus on drivers. Pininfarina has a big plan because it will accompany its hypercar with 3 SUVs which will all arrive in 5 years.

These Pininfarina PF0 is expected to use a powertrain which can make it go from 0 to 100 kph in less than 2 seconds with a top speed of more than 400 kph. Pininfarina is expected to use a modular frame jointly developed by Croatian electric supercar maker Rimac and Formula E team Mahindra Racing.
When finished later, the United States is likely to be its biggest market due to local interest in electric power and the Pininfarina-designed car - with new businesses involved with prospective retail partners.
