In the Geneva Motor Show back in 2017 has noted the debut of a supercar as the result of the collaboration between three renowned names on the world's automotive namely the former F1 world champion, Emerson Fittipaldi, Italian premier automotive design house Pininfarina, and Germany’s elite engineering team at HWA AG-a winning recipe for racing. It can be said as a perfect blend of racing experience with the cold hand of a premium car constructor.

The car was named Fittipaldi EF7 Vision GranTurismo by Pininfarina. As we all knew, Fittipaldi was a dominant force during the decade of his Formula 1 career and won his first F1 Drivers’ Championship in 1972 at the age of 25, the youngest, at the time, to do so. And he is also the only driver to win the Indianapolis 500 and F1 Championship on multiple occasions, reason enough for his induction into the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America in 2001.

The track-only supercar relies on carbon-fiber monocoque construction with a shark-like aesthetic, the automobile presents the same visual cues as its aquatic counterpart—an intimidating form that is strikingly streamlined. And has a length of 4,600 mm, 1,980 mm in width and 1,125 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,700 mm. The power train, suspension, and braking system have been developed by HWA AG but are housed in a body that is distinctly Pininfarina in design.

This car weighs only 1,000 kg and is powered by a 4.8-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine, which offers the power of 600 hp at 8,250 rpm and 510 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. This engine is combined with a six-speed integrated sequential gearbox, along with bilateral mechanical limited-slip differential. There were no achievement records issued for this supercar, but it was told to have a weight distribution of 48 percent in the front and 52 percent in the rear, with a ground relief distance of 60 mm.

Emerson Fittipaldi has told Automotive News the EF7 track toy costs $1.5 million. The mid-engined car is ready for limited production (only 39 units) and each new owner will have the opportunity to join the training session by Fittipaldi and raise their position in the driving level designed by the former champion. The car's owners can also join the Fittipaldi Racing Club, which will provide high-performance driving sessions and exclusive races on several world-famous circuits.
