Driving these Ferrari makes you look floating on the air

When you hear the name of Ferrari, surely those are you imagined the cars with red colors that use tough engines plus a thunderous sound. Not to mention the car design that is made very attractive, futuristic and sporty.

But apparently, Ferrari has also ever made a weird-shaped car that resembles a spaceship with a pointed angle. Yes, there's she is a Ferrari 512S Modulo Concept. That's prototype only and not mass-produced car, but it had been shocked the public at the 1970 Geneva Motor Show exhibition.

However, as reported by Motor1, Ferrari 512S Modulo Concept now looks able to drive. Uniquely, because the body design covers its tires that makes the car looks like 'floating' on the air.

Another uniqueness of this car could be seen on its doors. Not gull-wing or scissors-style doors, but sliding doors located on the roof, similar to a fighter jet's canopy built-in that can be shifted to the front and back.
Now, the Ferrari 512S Modulo Concept can be driven, after the owner of Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus, James Glickenhaus bought it in 2014. He changed these spaceship-like car until finally could be driven on the road.

The Ferrari 512S Modulo Concept was designed by Paolo Martin, an Italian designer who worked at Pininfarina Carozzeria. When first made and performed to public in 1970, this car attracted many public attention thanks to its unusual design.


As for the engine, these Ferrari 512S Concept Modulo is used a 5.0-liter V12 engine combined with a five-speed manual transmission system. Overall the power produced by the engine to make the car run is 550 hp, and is claimed to be able to accelerate from 0-100 kph in only 3.1 seconds and the top speed reaches 350 kph....
