Mazda is rumored to be bringing the latest version of their flagship sports car, the Mazda RX-9, at the Tokyo Motor Show 2017, which will be held in October.
Just like the previous generation, Mazda's RX series is equipped with a rotary engine. This machine has the advantage of conventional gasoline engines, especially in terms of the performance.

But unfortunately, the rotary engines are less popular among the public, due to the complex and costly maintenance. In fact, Mazda was rumored to be stopping the development of the machine.
According to rumors circulating, that the Mazda RX-9 takes the base of the RX-Vision concept car, which was introduced two years ago. And reportedly also used a rotary engine capable of producing power up to 400 horsepower, which is used to drive a car weighing 1.3 tons.

The presence of the RX-9 was getting stronger thanks to a statement from Mazda's Chief Executive Officer, Masamichi Kogai who stating that Mazda will make a new sports car, after they finish presenting the latest MX-5 Miata some time ago. Let's wait and see for few next months. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | MOTOR1 | CARBUZZ]
