Cadillac has been absent 14 years in the motorsport world. But suddenly, Cadillac decided to return to the race track with the latest prototype, namely All-new Cadillac DPi-V.R. According to this American car manufacturer, the race car equipped with a naturally aspirated 6.2-liter dry-sump V8 engine, which is claimed capable of spraying power up to 600 horsepower. In addition, a shift sequential gearbox operated by paddles along viscous mechanical limited-slip differential, capable of delivering a thrust to the rear wheels evenly.

As one of the requirements join the race in a new class of DPi, the manufacture of racing car chassis must go through four recommended constructors, namely Dallara, Onroak Automotive, ORECA or Riley Multimatic.
