Fierce appearance of Toyota C-HR with TRD accessories

Along with the launch of Toyota C-HR in Japan, and TRD (Toyota Racing Development) also launched its Toyota C-HR versions. The goal is to satisfy the desire of consumers who want to make their Toyota C-HR are different from the default look by adding TRD accessories. And there are two accessory packages are offered by TRD, namely Aggressive style and Extreme style.

Aggressive style pack offers a front spoiler with LED as dusk lights, side skirts, rear diffuser, trunk lid spoiler, 18-inch TRD wheels and grille garnish. While the Extreme style has a shorter front bumper with silver accents, red mud flaps, a black boot lid spoiler, and 18-inch TRD rims.

Meanwhile, on the cabin of both styles got sporty seats are wrapped with a mix of leather and fabric. On the seat is mounted Exgel to minimize shocks. There were also additional features such as smart key and the TRD door handles. And its Motion Control Beam (MCB) for the suspension system is claimed to be able to dampen the shock when the car is running, increasing the substantiality of the body, and minimizes body roll.

Toyota C-HR is built using the platform of the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA). It has a length of 4,350 millimeters, width 1,795 mm, height 1,550 mm and a wheelbase of 2,640 mm. For comparison, the C-HR is 56 mm longer and wider 23 mm than the Honda HR-V, but the 55 mm lower. Meanwhile, the wheelbase of Toyota C-HR is 30 mm longer.

There are two options for Toyota C-HR engines. First, a 8NR-FTS 1.2 liter turbo powered 115 ps at 5,200 to 5,600 rpm and torque of 185 nm between 1,500 and 4,000 rpm. The machine is connected to a six-speed manual transmission or a CVT. Toyota offers drive systems of two and four wheels. The second option is a 2.0-liter engine with a power of 147 ps and a peak torque of 187 nm. This machine is the same as that used by the Corolla Altis.
