A brand-new classic three-wheeled electric car launched by Morgan

Apparently, the British automotive manufacturer, Morgan Motor follow the world trend to make the electric cars. And their first electric car was produced in limited numbers and has a quite eccentric three-wheeled vehicle design within a classic style.

As reported by CNN Money on Monday, November 28, 2016, the electric car was named 'Morgan UK1909' and produced only 19 units worldwide and will be sold at a price of £52,500, or about Rp.881.75 million. There are models for children priced at £7,300 or Rp.122.60 million.

The Malvern-based company is working together with a local department store, Selfridges, to sell the Morgan UK1909. 

The launch of the electric vehicles itself has been done some time ago. The purpose of Morgan Motors makes the UK1909 with the appearence similar to the vintage vehicles is to commemorate the first model of them which created 107 years ago. They say the concept of UK1909 is "pleasure" and "hoopla".

According to CNN Money, the roofless electric cars has relatively noisy sounds for an electric vehicle. When the accelerator is pressed, there is also a fun grunt sound and reminiscent of a conventional engine vehicles.

Even so, the UK1909 was not typical malignant electric car. Its engine only able to burst the power up to 70 hp, with a distance of only 150 miles (241.4 km) when the battery is fully charged.
Manufacturers who only make up to 850 cars per year by hand, affirmed that they also make another electric cars of the future and expressed has invested about £6 million (Rp.100,77 billion) to develop other electric cars in the future. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | CNN MONEY]
