Here she is the real face of Norton V4 superbike

The newest superbike of Norton released in two versions namely Norton V4 SS and RR. However, the Norton V4 SS produced as much as 200 units are already fully booked, and the remaining V4 RR models are still waiting for the world premiere in the UK Bike Show.

The Norton V4 superbike details expressed directly by Simon Skinner, Head Designer of Norton. These newest Norton superbike comes with bodywork, wheels and carbon fiber tanks. While its framework and single sided swingarm made from aluminum.

Norton V4 engine built independently by Norton, using a 72-degree V4 engine configuration with a capacity of 1,200 cc. Simon argued that by using the 72 degrees machine further facilitate the design of the frame to appear as a naked bike, rather than the 90-degree V4 engine configuration. In addition, the frames are prepared for the model in the segment below it later.

The machine is capable of producing more than 200 horsepower at 12,500 rpm, and torque of 130 Nm at 10,000 rpm. And equipped with three riding modes; namely Road, Sport and Pro-Race.

Norton V4 RR's appearance also expensive, at least with the use Öhlins NIX30 suspension front and Öhlins TTXGP on the rear, then there's the brakes system from Brembo, and LED lights.

Uniquely on the panel instruments, there are the screen to display the image from the rear camera. Certainly not to backwards, but still in line with the inspiration of the Isle of Man TT, if the superbike later used on the race.

Simon also explained that the V4 RR comes complete with many sophisticated electronic features such as leaning ABS, wheelie control, launch control, traction control, autoblipping, quick shifter and the IMU electronic features package.

With such a complete figure of Norton V4 RR only has an empty weight of 179 kg. Compare with the SS variant that has been sold out previously, with a weight of about 199 kg. And the Norton V4 RR will produced in small numbers with the price estimated in the UK about £28,000 approx Rp.460 million.
