This is India's first electric motorcycle

If the name of Tork certainly many who do not know that it was the motorcycle brand of Indian origin. But because these brand is now India had its first electric motorcycle. Well, this is the first electric motorcycle made in India named "Tork T6X. "

The T6X is powered by Brushless DC 6kw lithium-ion battery, and claimed that the T6X able to roam as far as 100 kilometers on a fully charged battery condition, and capable of driving up to speeds of 100 kilometers per hour. The electric motor is able to drive the motorcycle with a torque of 26 Nm.

The performance figures above is not bad for an electric motorcycle that will be used for travel within the city. Moreover, it only took one hour to charge the lithium-ion battery up to 80 percent.

Many unique features, including the bike sharing program that is easy to use, and minimal maintenance, and has a special room to store a full face helmet behind its 'fake fuel tanks', can be integrated with a smartphone as well.

"The TIROS smart system makes the rider easily to change drive modes that govern the power transfer. The bike can change from sporty mode to comfortable drive and energy efficient. The TIROS can also update the technology through the cloud," said Kapil Shelke, founder and CEO of Tork.
The T6X equipped with a 4.3-inch touch screen in which there are navigation, travel data and information motors, through the cloud connections with the smartphone of its owners.
