A very impressive modification work coming from the Yamaha YZF-R1 superbike dubbed 'Double Take'. This bike comes with an elegant, unique modification concept, but not eliminate the macho impression. And this bike is the best creation from Stanton-based home modifications Sesto Custom Cycles.

Behind the Yamaha superbike unique modification work was not spared from the touch of the cold hand of Tony Sesto. And the results modifications of Yamaha YZF-R1 superbike has participated in the International MotorShow (IMS) 2012 in Long Beach.
This Yamaha YZF-R1 has its front suspension replaced by a single-sided, hub-centre steered front end, radically stretched and fitted with a super wide tires measuring 240 mm to match the front and rear on the golden accent custom wheels.

The system is a full working one too, a point which the makers proved by riding the bike in from its build garage. The copper toned paint job is a tribute to Yamaha’s history in the form of a Samurai, Japanese Koi, Lotus flowers and the many different logos used throughout the company’s existence is also incorporated on the body.

This Yamaha YZF-R1 may no longer can be riding at high speed and done a maneuver like a superbike. But the combination of macho and elegant impression makes the motorcycle was very cool to ride in the city. That is why the Sesto R1 also managed to win in the Custom Showdown Pro Builder in 2013.
