The real form of Norton SuperFast V4 increasingly clear

One of British renowned motorcycle manufacturers, Norton confirmed that this year's their super fast superbike almost completed. The motorcycle design that uses a four-cylinder engine with a capacity of 1,200 cc can be confirmed in the final stages of development.

Norton has not yet determined the proper name for this motorcycle. Development of the engine was taken from motorcycle racing. According to Simon Skinner as Norton's Head of Design, Norton motorcycle is going to be using a body almost entirely of carbon fiber materials. TThe design itself would refer to the today supercars with a classic modern design, such as the McLaren P1 and Aston Martin 177.

Norton seems to want to provide something new and different compared to another players in the class of 1,000 cc superbike. The British motorcycle manufacturers have also leaked the initial sketch of superbike could be burst the power up to 200 horse power of its V4 engine.

As quoted from the MCN on Thursday, August 11, 2016, this motorcycle has a strong racing aura  as well as will be a strong competitor on the Ducati 1299 Panigale. While its high-performance V4 engine is very inspired by the Aston Martin cars and F1 car industry which is also based in the UK. While the engine design will be done with the help of Ricardo Engineering, who has many experience in TT motorcycle racing.

"England did have a fantastic design and engineering projects today. McLaren P1, Aston 177 and of course all the F1 cars that have the latest technology. So if you want to think Ducati, Ferrari, think also Norton, Aston Martin," said Simon.

According to Skinner, the company plans to target the Superbike class which will also be used as the racing motorcycle. Interestingly the top row of the Superbike class which has advanced technology today filled by Ducati Panigale 1299, Kawasaki Ninja H2, Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, Honda CBR1000RR, as well as the BMW S1000RR which will likely be a competitor of the latest Superbike product will be released by Norton Motorcycles in the near future.

The development will be done by Norton Motorcycles in the superbike class is known to receive funding from the British government about £4 million or equivalent to Rp. 84 billion. The funds will be used to increase the plant facilities and recruiting new employees. All this is done in order to re-establish the glory of Norton Motorcycles in the past.
