Turned out, the woman as beautiful as a goddess was a ...

The Chinese researchers have recently showed off a beautiful woman robot that really looks like a human being so it earning the nickname the 'goddess robot'. A robot named Jia Jia was standing at the entrance of the trade fair venue for the 2016 Summer Davos Forum in Tianjin, a major port city in the north of China. She was wearing a traditional Chinese clothes and hairstyle, complete with classic hairpin.
You might do a double take when you see this new interactive robot, and visitors to a recent exhibition in China did the same. Jia Jia is a humanoid robot who is not only very pretty, but intelligent and quick-witted too. (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1cBwQC)
This robot's brain is actually the large online database and connected to the 'cloud computing' platform allowing it to process emotions and conversations along with the download of the data. Jia Jia can chat with people who ask her questions and respond in less than a second. Some reports say he also can make micro expressions and get to know a person's facial expressions.
The robot was first unveiled earlier this year. During the unveiling, Xiaoping said hello to his robot goddess, which immediately responded, 'Yes my lord, what can I do for you?' (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1cBwQC)
She is the only one in China, although there have been several attempts to make robots like over the last few years in the country. And according to some reports, China is very interested in the robotic technology. More than 25% of industrial robots in 2015 were sold in China, equivalent to 62 thousand from 248 thousand units worldwide.

As quoted by the Daily Mail on Thursday, JUne 30, 2016, this robot was created by Chen Xiaoping and his colleagues at the University of Science and Technology of China. And Jia Jia introduced for the first time in Hefei, capital of Anhui Province in the east, on April 15. At the time of introduction, Xiaoping greets the robot and she answered, "Yes, my lord, what can I do for you?"
"Hello everyone. I am Jia Jia. Welcome!" the robot said when welcoming the audience in the university's multimedia centre in May, as reported by Xinhua. The 'goddess robot' added, "'Don't come too close to me when you are taking a picture. It will make my face look fat."

A researchers group of Jia Jia creator is the mastermind behind the service robot named 'Kejia' which became the first winner of the RoboCup championship in 2014. At that time, Kejia scored a historic mark of 8,555 points because of its ability laying off drinks. But unlike the Kejia, Jia Jia seem not to be included in the competition.

"We hope to develop a robot with a profound ability to learn. We will add facial expressions and make it perform more in-depth interaction with people," explained Xiaoping. The researchers also revealed that Jia Jia was truly 'invaluable' so they do not think to produce it in bulk. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | XINHUA | JAFRIANEWS | DAILY MAIL]
