While the Bugatti Chiron has not been formally demonstrated its performance and made the Veyron still as the car with fastest acceleration. The status want to be captured by Elemental RP1, or at least equaled.

"We do not have professional drivers, the tires were worn and dirty running surface," said John Begley, technical director of Elemental.

Achievement of acceleration at 2.7 seconds was achieved thanks to the bursts of power from the engine of 280 hp, as well as supported by Launch Control system, as the development results of the Elemental its own. The Elemental RP1 has a weighs of 750 kg, the result of the application of innovative carbon fiber and aluminum in the chassis.
"Glad to know we are blusterous, but our focus is on developing a fun car to be driven," said Begley.
