ONE-OFF A custom built motorcycle inspired by the classic figure of 1928 BMW R37, a racing motorcycle ridden by the famous German rider named Ernst Henne, when he broke the world record in speed in early 1930s.
And it was Revival Cycles, an Austin-based home modification tried to build a motorcycle as an attempt to revive the 'spirit' of BMW R37 with a quite radical look and given the name of Revival BMW Landspeeder.
The story is just as unusual as the custom motorcycle itself and started when a customer asks to be made a motorcycle that is appropriate for display in a gallery. The customer intention to make 20 motorcycles and hire at least five custom builders simultaneously.
"All we really knew was that Max Hazan was building one, and we were building one. Of course, we were interested!" told Alan Stulberg of Revival Cycles as quoted of Bikeexif.
