The unique concepts of Yamaha for urban mobility

In recent years, Yamaha have always been present many futuristic concepts that sometimes anti-mainstream. And Yamaha calls it as the Redefined Dynamism design philosophy, and always imbued with a gimmick of GEN.

Uniquely each GEN displayed motorcycle categories or different vehicles, such as 01GEN is trike dual-sport, 02GEN wheelchair, 03GEN-x and 03GEN-f tricycle and 04GEN semi-transparent scooter.

The next concept, namely 05GEN form of tricycle and 06GEN a dead fairy automobile. Both concept will be shown at the Toyo Ito Museum of Architecture in Imabari, the island of Shikoku in southern Japan on July 2-3, 2016.

Yamaha 05GEN
Especialy the Yamaha 05GEN concept combines an electric motorized bicycle with two front wheels adopted the tilt leaning technology like the Yamaha Tricity. So when turn allows the rider did the oblique maneuver.

Uniquely, the electric motor acts only as the torque addition to the rider pedaling (Pedelec). And electric motor bike was equipped with a protective canopy, so that the motorist avoid the scorching heat and light rain.

Yamaha 06GEN
While Yamaha 06GEN is Yamaha's latest four-wheeled concept, looks like the love child of a golf cart and the Disneyland parking shuttle. It was also designed to handle short-range urban trips, but this time there's room for the driver's friends to come along for the ride.

The materials in the cabin have been chosen to feel inviting, with soft materials and curved surfaces to encourage passengers to face each other and chat, rather than just sit idly in a row.
