New Italian fierce faced electric sportcar

An Italian design house named Umberto Palermo Design in the near future will introduce an electric-powered sport car concept named Luce as well as a tuned version of Tesla's Model S.

First up, the Luce is a rather sexy GT featuring a sharp body which we would definitely want to see morph into a production car. Only a concept at this point, the vehicle tips the scales at just 2,645 lbs (1,200 kg) thanks to a lightweight body made from recyclable materials wrapping an aluminum monocoque.

The design shape of LED lights are made slanting with the front display without the grille and on the front is actually used for the airways. At the bottom spoiler there is a metal frame with unknown primary function.

The curves of the body line from front to rear looks very dominating, and is designed to reinforce the sporty impression on the Luce overall. The Italian electric sports car sits on 20-inch wheels with the dimensions, 455 cm (179-inch) long, 196 cm (77-inch) wide and 124 cm (49-inch) tall.

As quoted from AvtoMoto1, Luce had a great power of 288 hp (215 kilowatts) that generated from a series of electric motors. As for the generated torque is reached up to 370 Nm (273 lb-ft). For a single battery charge, Luce claimed to be able to cover a distance of 340 kilometers (211 miles) only, shorter than the Tesla Model S which is able to cover a distance of 487 km (303 miles).

Luce will be introduced to the public in the Turin Motor Show 2016 which takes place start June 8 until June 12, 2016 with its brother named Valentino is basically a reskinned Tesla Model S with a substantially more aggressive body made from carbon fiber.

Riding on 22-inch wheels, Tesla's electric sedan has been equipped with different bumpers and both ends and a lowered suspension. It benefits from 421 ps (415 hp) and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque and is said to come with an increased driving range of up to 500 km (311 miles). *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | AVTOMOTO1 | CARSCOOPS]
