The supercar named 'BAIC Arcfox-7,' driven by using a 100 percent electric power and reportedly will go on sale in China's auto market by the end of this year. It seem like a car that is ready to conquer the race track, the design of BAIC Arcfox-7 inspired by the single-seat Formula-E racing car.
Like all the vehicles that compete in the Formula-E racing events, Arcfox-7 is also equipped with an electric battery that offers exceptional performance.
Supported by a 6.6 kWh battery that is connected to the electric motors powered up to 603 horsepower, BAIC Arcfox-7 has weighs a fairly hefty, namely 1,755 kg (3,869 lbs). However, this supercar capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in less than 3.0 seconds, before reaching a maximum speed of 162 mph or 260 km/h.
With this kind of performance, of course, the car need a reliable braking system, therefore the Arcfox-7 is also equipped with carbon ceramic brakes with six-piston calipers in front and four-piston callipers at the rear, which marks the handling capabilities of Arcfox 7 around the racing track.
However, all this performance is only capable of being brought as far as 186 miles or 299 km on a single battery's charging, which is relatively low for an electric supercar. However, once again, its high performance probably will make people forget about the cruising range is low. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | GT SPIRIT]
