The Honda's sports car enthusiasts may be pleased to hear this news, because the renowned Japanese car maufacturer set up a racing version of the NSX sports car. For the GT3 North America Racing competitions in 2017, Honda has prepared a special weapon named 'Acura NSX GT3'.
But before that, it was exhibited for the first time at the New York International Auto Show 2016 on March 23, 2016. In a Honda press release, the Honda NSX also called Acura NSX in America would remove some of the electric motor as much as 2 pieces. So the car that previously was using the All Wheel Drive system will be used the rear-wheel drive system.

Acura NSX GT3 is participating in testing and homologation to be one of racing cars in the FIA GT3 class next fall. This car uses a twin turbocharged, DOHC, V-6 angled 75 degrees engine which has a capacity of 3.5 liters. This engine specification similar to the production version. Just be prepared sequential-shift racing six-speed transmission system is channeled to the rear wheels.
The Acura NSX GT3 still using ultra lightweight construction that is also used in the NSX and the aluminum space frame, and will be manufactured at the Acura NSX production center in Ohio.
