The NNMC vehicles as an urban traffic congestion solution

Nissan takes four units of Nissan New Mobility Concept (NNMC) cars to the 2016 New York International Auto Show. Currently NNMC vehicles already in use in San Francisco. This car is predicted as a future transportation and an urban congestion solution.

This mini car measuring 2.3 meters is almost half of the All New Nissan TITAN XD pick-up model. This car was developed to respond to the increasing use of the car for a short distance and capacity of two passengers.

"Great city continues to grow into a megacity globally. We need to better understand how transportation changed and anticipate what the transportation needs in the future. With the rapid growth of smart technology and the rise of the sharing economy, we are studying how to measure and package of the electric vehicles fit in customer's situation real life," said Rachel Nguyen, director of Nissan Future Lab.

As reported from Carscoops, the main benefit of the car according to the nature of the vehicles that are environmentally friendly, help reduce pollution in the city because it uses electrical energy. Parking was easy because of its small size.
