Geneva is not only the scene of the world premiere for the large manufacturers, but also applies to small manufacturers who produce super cars on a small scale like Italdesign. The manufacturer now owned by Audi unveiled a brand new electric supercar concept named 'Italdesign GTZero' at the Palexpo Arena.

This GTZero is a Gran Turismo car that really rely on electrical energy so as not to cause emissions. Built on a modular monocoque carbon frame, the car has an integrated battery. There are three electric motors that serve to drive all four wheels, two in the front garden and one in the back that is capable of producing a total of 490 hp.

GTZero able to travel 500 km on a full battery condition and reaches a maximum speed of 250 kph. To recharge the battery to 80 percent only takes 30 minutes. Modular structure can be adapted to use multiple configurations, one of which is a 3 + 1 layout and also hybrid. Inside the passenger cabin can accommodate two adults and two children or if necessary can move to the front passenger seat that can carry three passengers and one child behind the driver.

The design is aggressive themselves inspired by Lamborghini Huracan, while Italdesign admitted GTZero also took a lot of inspiration from models such as the Alfa Romeo concept cars Scighera, Daewoo Bucrane, Bizzarrini Manta and Ferrari GG50. GTZero designed and assembled in the Italdesign factory in Moncalieri.
