To achieve this, he turned to Carrozzeria Vignale, a renowned Italian coachbuilder. Known for its work with Ferrari, Maserati, and other prestigious brands, partnering with Vignale was a bold move that reflected Kelly's ambition to elevate the Corvette to new heights.

A wide front grille gave the car an almost catfish-like appearance, while the large rear window and sloping rear end added to its distinctive silhouette.
