This is classic vehicles from the James Bond movie, but the engineers have created a scooter that could turn into a jet-ski when riding it on the water.
The Biski (pictured) is a motorbike that converts into a jet ski at the touch of a button. By lifting the wheels out of the water, it reduces its drag and two powerful water jets at the back can propel it at up to 37 miles per hour. (Picture from: http://dailym.ai/1ZwVEfF) |
Biski is a motorcycle with a chassis that can float and has two wheels that can be drawn with a touch when operated on the water. Two water jets then spurts to push this vehicle at speeds up to 37 mph (59.55 kph).
Gibbs Sports Amphibians, a company based in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, England, said it takes only five seconds to turn this bike into a jet ski. The company has built a prototype of the Biski and is currently looking to sell its intellectual property rights to a manufacturer to begin producing the machines to sell to the public.
While it make look somewhat ungainly out of the water, the chassis of the bike is designed to make it float and remain stable while sitting on the water. It is capable of reaching 87 mph when on the road (pictured). (Picture from: http://dailym.ai/1ZwVEfF) |
"Biski truly unique as the single seat (or single plus pillion), a twin jet, High Speed Amphibians (HSA) motorcycle and this is the first in the world," as written in the official website, which is quoted by the Daily Mail recently.
