JAQ Gran Turismo concept car with unique drivetrain

This is JAQ Gran Turismo concept car made by Jorge Anaguano Quijia, and the concept car is dedicated for the famous Gran Turismo video game. This car has high aerodynamic and is powered with CAtC (Collection of Air to Compress) system.

According to the car designer, that the CAtC is a system to collect the air flowing through the body of the car (that’s the reason because it’s very aerodynamic) in a high pressure compressor.

Subsequently, the compressor blows compressed air with great force and it will move turbines located in back tires of the car and the motion is produced.

Also, turbines generate electricity that charges the battery of an electric motor that complements back driving force. Additionally has a small internal combustion engine rotary that complement the necessary power in front tires.

Indeed, this car is still an imaginary car and if we've seen from its futuristic concept was very interesting, then this car deserves got an appreciation. This car, even with no plans of going into production, still easily generates heaps of interest for further development of eco concepts that combine alternative energy and artistic design in such a harmonious way.. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | TUVIE | AUTOMOTIVE99]
