Yamaha's new sports car concept unveiled in Tokyo

There are unique in the Tokyo Motor Show 2015, which is a sports car with Yamaha name. Although not a sportscar manufacturer, in order to enliven the 44th Tokyo Motor Show 2015, the renowned Japanese two-wheeled vehicle manufacturer shows off a quite interesting four-wheel sports car concept.

As reported by AutoExpress on Wednesday, October 28, 2015, the car was named 'Yamaha Sports Ride Concept'. It's a mid-engined sports car concept that the brand says will have a similar driver-machine relationship to that of a motorcycle.

These Yamaha Sports Ride Concept car using a production processes named iStream, developed by designer Gordon Murray (the man behind the McLaren F1, as well as a new TVR sports car project) with carbonfibre technology which makes it lighter and stronger as well as a high rigidity like F1.

The car comes in dark gray and colored leather for the interior as well as carbon fiber and metal accents on the two seats. The car itself has a weight of 750 kilograms, it's clearly inspired by Yamaha's motorcycles. Though there are no details on the engine it uses.
