New Yamaha Flat Track Bike Concept

In the AIMExpo (American International Motorcycle Expo), Yamaha, a Japanese renowned motorcycle manufacturer released their new flat-track motorcycle concept named 'Yamaha DT-07 Flat Track Concept' and taken the Yamaha MT-07 as the base for this concept motorcycle.

Yamaha MT-07 chosen as a base because it has 2-cylinder parallel Crossplane engine with a capacity of 689 cc. This motorcycle has a good torque in the lower to middle rounds, and has proven successful when got fourth ranks in the race of AMA Pro Flat Track Event.

This bike is done by an American modifier named Jeff Palhegyi Design in cooperation with motorsports division of Yamaha America.

Modifications made to this motorcycle, among others, such as the use of front shock absorber of Yamaha YZF-R6, the Ohlins with the customized  suspension link for its rear shock absorber, the Propulsion Labs wheels, reprogrammed ECU, the exhaust system of the Graves Motorsports and others.
