These little device gives wheelchairs an electric boost

Many wheelchair which uses the machine to facilitate the users, but unfortunately makes wheelchair becomes larger, heavy and very expensive. Maybe only SmartDrive MX2 will become the solution that can be used (plug and roll) in a regular wheelchair.

SmartDrive MX2 is small and lightweight (only about 7 kg) devices and we simply put it in the back of the wheelchair to use. SmartDrive MX2 has a special bracelet with a motion sensor that functions as a remote control for these little drive motor.

Power is produced from a 250W brushless DC motor combined with a LiFePO4 36 V, 3.4 Ah battery. The MX2 also has an anti-rollback feature, so that if you stop midway up a hill, the unit can get you going again without the threat of slipping backward.

Its use is quite simple, to activate the machine simply by pressing the ON/OFF button then simply move our hands when will run the wheelchair, hand gestures which will rapidly increase the speed and vice versa, slow movement will slow the wheelchair, to stop simply by hitting slowly the wheel.

These little device that used to make wheelchair claimed ran up to the speed of 9 km/h and capacity of the battery in it can be used as far as 19 km. SmartDrive MX2 can also be paired with a smart phone via a Bluetooth connection from the phone and we can adjust some settings in it.

Just received my MX2 smart drive. And every video I have seen, you just attach the axle and put on the smart drive not so easy.
You have to screw around screwing the axle to the drive and then attach the axle to the chair so before getting off a plane you would want to have this screwing around ready so you can get on your way. So why are we being miss informed DAM IT ????

It is only used as a tool that aims to help when using the wheelchair.
