Unlike conventional pushbikes - in which the rider is fully exposed to the elements and cars - the GinzVelo has a fibreglass pod that pulls down over the driver to protect them. (Picture from: http://dailym.ai/1UnZ4nE)
The GinzVelo, which has been in development for four years, comes with a wide range of lights, including LED headlights, taillights, brake lights and turn signals. Owners would have the option of pedaling the bike, but its 500-watt battery lets it go up to 120 mph for 100 miles on a single charge.
GinzVelo is made from fiberglass, foam core and aluminium. The same manufacturing techniques used to build aquatic aircraft are used. It is designed for people weighing less than 250lb (113kg). (Picture from: http://dailym.ai/1UnZ4nE)

Unlike the conventional pedal bike, GinzVelo has a fiberglass pod that can be pulled up or down to protect the rider. As reported by the Daily Mail, Peter Ginzburg has launched a bid to raise funds of about US. $50,000 to put the GinzVelo into production using the crowdfunding site, Kickstarter.
