A new generation of Horex VR6

The new generation of Horex VR6 finally officially rolled on the Frankfurt Motor Show 2015. It has a futuristic look and the new engine, this bike comes after 3C Carbon Group, the German automotive manufacturers acquired Horex in February, 2015.

As reported by Visordown on Wednesday, September 16, 2015, the motorcycle is started to be done, after Carbon Group taking over Horex, they have more ambitious concept. After the redesign was completed in June, the new Horex shareholders try to show a VR6 bike teaser to the public.

The new VR6 keeps things traditional, sticking with the design that worked during its first introduction in 2010, inspired by the brand’s 1960’s root. In the tests performed, the motorcycle is mentioned capable of spewing power of 170 horse power and 138 Nm of torque.
To support the high performance, this bike uses Ohlins suspension with the highest specification and Brembo brake system, allowing it to weigh in at a meager 487 lbs.

In addition, a motorcycle with an empty weight of 221 kilograms and under the seat was pinned the subframe made from carbon fiber. Another features also pinned such as LCD instrument panel display and LED headlights.

The plan, this bike will be produced in limited quantities, ie as many as 33 units. No price has been announced, but all indications are that the machines will cost substantially more than the €22,500 (equivalent to Rp.365 million) of the previous VR6 bike.
