Mercedes S-Class Cabriolet confirmed for release in September

Flirting with leakage, seepage several times, finally Mercedes-Benz confirmed that it will released the S-Class Cariolet next September at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.

Not only that, Mercedes-Benz also released a teaser image for the latest S-Class Cabriolet. There are a number of brand-new features, such as increased wind protection automatic systems, aircap, and airscarf neck-level heating system.

As reported by the AutoGuide, August 24, 2015, Mercedes Benz wanted to bring the old concept for the S-Class Cabriolet is like the 1920s. And S-Class Cabriolet is expected to mimic the S-Class Coupe in terms of powertrain offers but is equipped with a soft top that opens and closes within 7 seconds.

Mechanically, the Cabriolet is expected to be nearly identical to the coupe. That means it will launch with a twin-turbocharged 4.7-liter V8 engine tuned to make 449 horsepower and 516 lb-ft. of torque. An automatic transmission and Mercedes' 4Matic all-wheel drive system will both come standard.
