Renault Eolab first exhibited at the Geneva Motor Show in March, 2015. The car equipped hybird features as the main powertrain for producing power 75 hp, thanks to the three-cylinder engine capacity of 1.0 liter, and 6.7 kwh battery.

And Eolab body pinned many advanced materials such as aluminum with magnesium, and carbon fiber composites. So the electric car's weight is only 955 kg.

Renault Eolab able to drive as far as 60 km only on its battery power. Renault will mass production for the global market "soon" said Jerome Stol, President and CEO of Renault Samsung Motors.

"Plug-in hybrids may be expensive at the moment, but they will eventually come down in price and be affordable in the mainstream sector," he added as quoted by Autonews on June 1, 2015.
Because Renault brings hybrid technology is not justified by the sales price would soar far as other competitors. Renault will not be positioned as high-end to Eolab, so many calculations are more mature than the cost of production, so that selling prices remain affordable. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | AUTONEWS]
